Nene Humphrey is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist whose work spans performance, video, drawing, and sound, often exploring the intersection of memory, dream states, and the collective human experience. Her recent project, This Like a Dream Keeps Other Time, reflects years of research into the emotional impact of dreams and the healing potential of music. Humphrey has exhibited at institutions including The Getty Museum, MoMA PS1, the High Museum of Art, and has received awards from the NEA, Rockefeller Foundation, and Anonymous Was a Woman, among others.
